After taking over the SIMOTEC business from Lapp Insulators in 2018, KUVAG has established itself as a leading player in manufacturing and supplying silicone rubber composite insulators for indoor and outdoor applications from 72kV to 800kV. A wide range of tube mandrels, sophisticated layer structures of our FRP tubes, and flexible shed designs allow our insulators made in Germany to be customized to virtually any requirement. The insulators are designed according to the specifications outlined in IEC 61462:2008 and IEC 62217, and other applicable industry standards.
